Application for 25 Ideas is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. Terms and conditions may be amended at the discretion of the organizing committee. Any and all amendments of terms and conditions will be notified via email. Participants should review terms and conditions periodically for amendments.


Participation & Eligibility

  1. Anyone with a solid idea & the determination to build it into a successful startup, and who fulfils each of the eligibility criteria below can apply to 25 Ideas.
  2. Participation is free of charge.
  3. The Pitch can be done virtually or physically based on availability.
  4. By participating, the participant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Pitch T&Cs and represents and warrants that it meets the eligibility requirements. In addition, the participant agrees to accept the Organizer’s decisions relating to the content of this Pitch as final and binding.
  5. The Organizer have the right to verify the eligibility of each participant. Applications that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
  6. If the participant uses fraudulent methods or otherwise attempts to circumvent the rules, its submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
  7. Any ideas or applications found to be plagiarized, offensive, or unethical may be screened & disqualified.


Submitting an Application

  2. The online application must include responses to all mandatory areas, which also includes the acknowledgment of these Pitching Session T&Cs

Participation Process

  1. Selected applications will be notified by email on confirmation for details including date, time, mode of delivery and location (if applicable) of the Pitch.
  2. Each confirmed participant will be allocated 30 minutes on-stage duration, where 15 minutes of Pitch is followed with 15 minutes of Q&A and feedback.


Privacy

  1. By submitting an application, each participant agrees to the organizer disclosing the participant’s personal information to its sponsors, contractors, and agents to assist in conducting the competition and communicating with participants.


Publicity and Promotional Activities

  1. Each participant acknowledges and agrees that the non-confidential elements of the submitted material connected with the Pitch, including publication of the business concept, name and logo can be used in the public domain on the 25 Startups website and all other forms of advertising.


Disclaimer of LIability

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in their judgment, violates the rules of the Pitch or is not aligned with the purpose of the Pitch.
  2. The Pitch is conducted only towards the Organizer’s internal team. However, the Organizer assumes no responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of any information disclosed during the Pitch.
  3. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) between an applicant and the organizer and invited panels will not be required or allowed. Organizers are not responsible for any confidentiality issues that may occur during the course of the Pitch and will not be involved in any way with disputes arising therefrom.
  4. The organizer shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by reason of applying and participating in this competition. The organizer excludes liability for loss of income, loss of opportunity, personal injury, and damage to property, whether direct or indirect, consequential or foreseeable due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
  5. The organizer accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.  The organizer has no control over telephone communications, networks, or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction, or otherwise.  The organizer is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
